Benjamin Spock, MD, was a practicing paediatrician from 1933 to 1947 and then a teacher, researcher and political activist for causes that affect children.He died in March 1998. Dr. Robert Needlman is vice president of developmental and behavioral pediatrics at The Dr. Spock Company. Dr. Spock revolutionized parenting, and he is undoubtedly the best-known child care expert of the past 75 years. Dr. Spock's Baby and Child Care has been translated into thirty-nine.
