Brought up by a kid gentleman he falls into degradation after his poster father death and is treated as a servant by gentlemen son. When the girl for whom he has a passionate obesity love chooses to marry someone who else with more prospects and cultivation, he goes away and returns after several years as a rich and educated gentleman .
This engaging novel deals with the themes of intense passionate love and destructive effects of hate. The novel is also a social commentary on class prejudice prevalent the time and continues to haunt popular imagination.
Emily Jane Brontë was an English novelist and poet who is best known for her only novel, Wuthering Heights, now considered a classic of English literature.
